Who Needs a Nose

Reza Gul, a 20 year old afghan woman got her nose sliced off by her husband. They were together for 6 years and all throughout Reza ,was constantly beaten. After the incident Reza was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and where it appears she had great blood lose. However, the faculty was not equipped to handle such complicated surgery to reattach the nose. The embassy has arranged for Reza to get a national identity card, which she will use to apply for a passport to get to turkey. Where they have the proper instruments and treatments for the surgery. Reza’s plight had brought attention to domestic violence in third world countries such as Afghanistan.
