Dead Birds Cover Alaskan Shoreline
A seabird biologist named David Irons was shocked when he found a great quantity of dead murres on a beach in Alaska. The dead sea birds were signs of the negative impact of the rare and warm ocean temperatures. It is estimated that about 100,00 have died and the majority due to starvation. This is because their prey, fish, cannot inhabit the ocean at its current warm temperatures. The incident is very horrific and hopefully a solution will arise to prevent all these deaths.
