Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior signed for Barça on June 3rd 2013 after an agreement between the Club and FC Santos. The then 21-year-old was Barça’s first signing of the 2013/14 season.Born on February 5th 1992 at Mogi das Cruzes, in Brazil, Neymar began his footballing career at Santos in 2003 when he was only 11 years old and he quickly began to stand out in the club’s lower teams before making his debut with the first team in 2009 Fast, tricky, clever and skilful – Neymar is particular dangerous one on one, but he can shine in any attacking position, capable of showing his quality on the counter or finding spaces in a packed defence with his stunning turn of pace. Neymar is a lethal weapon against any defence.Neymar participated in the 2014 world cup but due to an injury was unable to finish the quarter final match against  Colombia. There has been rumors involving Neymar's contract with barcelona stating that he may be leaving barcelona and join the team Manchester city in  the premier league when his contract is done with Barça.Fox sports are still trying to coferm.
