Iran Releases American Captured for 41 Days

An American citizen was studying Farsi in Iran and just before he left, he was imprisoned by the government of Iran. Matthew Trevithick was accused of attempting to overthrow the Iranian government amongst other things. He was imprisoned for 41 days in a small room with neither a bed nor a pillow. Trevithick was released due to a prisoner swap between Iran and the United States. I cannot imagine how scared Trevithick could’ve been to be confined for so long under what are said to be false accusations.
