Hospital Sued For Doing Job Incorrectly
A patient from the Yale New Haven Hospital filed a lawsuit against them. Deborah Craven, a 60-year-old patient, went through surgery to remove her 8th rib. After the surgery, her rib still hurt and after X-rays, it was discovered that her 7th rib had been removed. The doctors lied and told Craven that they didn’t remove the entire 8th rib, so she sued them. I believe that they should’ve paid more attention while the patient was in surgery and thankfully they didn’t make a fatal mistake.

It is good it was not fatal, mistakes like these need to be prevented, although they do happen a small percentage of the time.
