Bad to the Burn
Tennessee family was elated for the arrival of their newborn baby; that is up until the baby suffered serious burn injuries. The heating lamp being used on the baby fell on her due to a loose screw. The burns on her neck and chest developed until gruesome blisters. St. Thomas Midtown Hospital offered a statement, “ a neonatologist was called to asses the baby immediately. A plastic specialist has been contacted to examine the baby to see if any treatment is necessary at this time. There will be no cost incurred by the family related to this event. Saint Thomas Midtown is very sorry that this event occurred and have offered a sincere apology to the parents.” However Void, the father, plans to sue and feels, “ she shouldn't have had to went through that, she's the baby there's nothing she can do about it.”
