Attempted Robbery by an 8- Year old

With dark baggy clothes, eight year old Jaydon was holding a loaded gun in attempt to rob the grocery store. He has stolen the handgun from his mother saying he was going to the park and won’t take long to go back. The employee at first had not realized it was a real gun, but follow the orders of the child. When the other employees saw the commotion, they helped right away and took the gun away from Jaydon and was took him into custody. Although he was not pressed any charges, he was not allowed back to the store and is supposed to take a diversion class. I believe that the mom should have been more careful about where she keeps her gun and pay more attention to her son, because based from that attempted robbery, there seems to be something going on with Jaydon.
